During Kat's early childhood, her mother took the initiative to ensure her daughter became fluent in both Spanish and English and instilled a deep appreciation for her Guatemalan heritage. Drawing on her teaching experience, Kat's mother consistently read to Kat in both languages every night and taught her daughter how to write. 

Kat grew to love the world of education, she loved to learn about other countries, customs, and traditions. Moreover, at the age of 15, she discovered a newfound passion for teaching children. 

Subsequently, Kat delved into the intricacies of early childhood development, choosing to specialize in educating little ones in English and Spanish about the wonders of the world around them.
